Macros
A macro records a sequence of actions and binds it to a single key, so one keystroke can do much more — typing preset text, sending a key combination, firing off a game combo, and so on.
Recording
By default 16 macros can be configured. Pick the one you want to edit from the dropdown.
Next, record the actions. The following actions are available:
- Tap: a quick tap, i.e. pressing and releasing a key in one go.
- Down: presses a key.
- Up: releases a key.
- Delay: a pause between actions.
- Text: literal text, in other words a string.
The order of the actions can be adjusted as you like.
Save your changes once you are done recording.
TIP
Marin Firmware supports delay and text. Please update your keyboard firmware to v2501 or later before using them.
Update packages are being released keyboard by keyboard — see the firmware library
Using a macro
Once a macro is configured, select the key you want to bind it to and click "apply current macro" to assign it.
